Based on the choices given but, in the Lost Chapel assault, where you are fighting your way up the hill, you meet your team members and are given the option to have them join you, or go back down the hill. Now, I usually run with both Ember and Daeran normally, because I like their power sets, and think they've got fun dialogue.
